What is BrokenLeigh Beautiful?
BrokenLeigh Beautiful: The Musings of Leigh is actually the title of my first book published on my birthday in August of 2016. I needed to vent not just for myself but for so many others. and I chose to do that publicly and in pure vulnerability.
We have all been broken and we acknowledge it but I realized that what we fail to do is celebrate the mosaic masterpiece we’ve become from the brokenness.
The feedback has been absolutely amazing and also showed me a common denominator. We’re all connected. We all share the same emotions and feelings.
And that brings me here. I wanted an open space to appreciate the shine we possess. The beauty from being broken. We are the awesome curated art in our stories and it’s about time we showcase it.

Greetings amazing humans, I am so glad you are here!
My name is Leigh.
I am a Chicago native. Chi-City!!
I adore the creative and visual arts.
Music is my heart and singing is my first love.
I have been blessed to win various contests and to perform across America with the most recent being the feature vocalist at the Harlem Renaissance costume party at Lit Diaries in Atlanta, GA.
I have also performed in musicals including the most recent portrayal of Deloris Van Cartier/Sister Mary Clarence in the stage musical production of Sister Act at the Charleston Light Opera Guild.
Other notable roles include Matron “Mama” Morton in the musical Chicago and one of the three sanging Street Urchins in Little Shop of Horrors.
I am a published poet of the book “BrokenLeigh Beautiful-The Musings of Leigh”.
I am also currently developing a fictional podcast series as well as recording new music.
I am the host of BrokenLeigh Beautiful: The Podcast
I enjoy writing songs and poetry.
I love traveling-road trips and train trips are my fav.
Autumn is my favorite season.
My sign is Leo. Roar!!
I love dogs, board and interpersonal games, dancing, cooking, laughing, creating and enjoying the zest of life I have!!
